Energy buddies for men

Every man desires to maintain youthful strength and vitality. Our society is fast-paced and sometimes that is a challenge. Perhaps you reach for energy drinks to keep going during long hours at work or play. Maybe you snack on processed and convenience foods that satisfy cravings but over time may lead to unwanted health challenges. Then you work out (or do chores at home) and “feel” it afterward.

It would be wonderful if everything your put in your body would add strength and energy, but that requires planning and dedication.

What if there were life-giving snacks and energy drinks that offered healthy solutions to these needs?

Oola Balance

I tuned in to a training last night hosted by the Oola Guys…. Dr. Dave Braun (Oola Seeker) and Dr. Troy Amdahl (Oola Guru). These two guys are fun and enthusiastic. You may or may not have heard of them. Regardless, one of the main thrusts of their teaching is helping folks bring balance to their lives and grow from there.

Their book is called Oola: Find Balance in an Unbalanced World.

Apparently there are a lot of people seeking balance in their lives because their book has sold so many copies that right now it is out of stock and only available in the Kindle Edition.

So what do they have to say about balance? They suggest there are seven areas where we must seek balance to be fully fulfilled in life.

  1. Finance
  2. Fitness
  3. Family
  4. Field
  5. Faith
  6. Fun
  7. Friends

I think they are right. You can’t have it together in one area and let other areas slide. Certainly gives some things to ponder and work on, eh?

I just ordered the two Oola blends and can’t wait to try them out. Do you have these oils? What can you tell me about how you use them and what you have noticed when you use them?

Wintertime fitness

I have been struggling with getting enough exercise during these cold, cold winter weeks. I don’t want to drive someplace in the cold to work out. But since I am thinking about fitness, I thought you might like to hear some ideas for essential oils to enhance your fitness program.

Breathing a drop of lavender and orange help relax before or after training.

Peppermint or Balsam Fir help focus and strengthen.

Lemon is refreshing and uplifting.

Frankincense is great for connecting your body and spirit to God

And don’t forget Deep Relief and OrthoSport to ease muscle soreness after you exercise!
