We want the best for the little ones in our lives. We want our babies to be safe, healthy and happy.
Do you ever wonder about the products you use on your baby’s skin? Did you know that it only takes 26 seconds for the chemicals you put on your child’s skin to enter the bloodstream?
Young Living cares deeply about the health of your entire family, including the youngest to the oldest. That’s why the Seedlings line of products was developed. You can be assured that the quality of this line is the best, and you can trust these products to go on even your precious newborn!
I am so thankful for Young Living’s commitment to give us safe products of the highest quality, backed by solid up-to-date scientific research.
This month we will focus on products and oils for infants. But keep in mind that as we age, the skin becomes more vulnerable, so you may also find some nuggets to keep in mind when also caring for the elderly members of your family.
First, let’s take a look at what is NOT in the Young Living Seedlings products. They are free from alcohol, parabens, phthalates petrochemicals, animal-derived ingredients, synthetic preservatives, synthetic fragrances or synthetic dyes. All these ingredients have the potential to cause a lifetime of health challenges. Is that what you want for your little one?
I encourage you to pick any three products you currently use on your baby and read the label. What ingredients do you find that could be harmful to yourself or your child? If you are unsure, make a note of the Environmental Working Group’s website where you can look up ingredients and how they rate for safety. Be sure to also check their Skin Deep page.
Do your homework and check our next post to discover the wonderful products Young Living has to offer. If you have questions please contact me at joyce@ShareScents.com.
I have published a special newsletter called Seedings: From Mother Nature’s Nursery to Yours. If you don’t have a copy of it, please send me an email and request the Seedling newsletter by name! You’ll love all the information it contains and will want to keep it for future reference.
