Have you ever thought about what is in your hand soap or toothpaste? Most people take for granted that these products are safe and use them without much thought. Some have heard of the dangers of Fluoride and SLS, but have you ever thought about Triclosan?
- Triclosan is a pesticide derived from Agent Orange component 2,4-D. If you know anyone who served in our military during the Vietnam War, you know how devastating Agent Orange is. So it makes you wonder why it would be in toothpaste, right?
- Did you also know that Triclosan is linked to endocrine disruption and fetal bone malformations?
- It is known to alter hormone regulation and may harm the immune system.
I encourage you to do your own research on Triclosan and then check the ingredients in your soaps and toothpaste. Keep in mind the ingredients listed on the label may not be a complete disclosure of everything that goes into the product. Proprietary secrecy allows that not all ingredients are required to be listed.
Then take a look at the ingredients in Young Living’s personal care products, keeping in mind that Young Living is a full disclosure company. You can trust the labeling and know that all the ingredients are safe. This is why I trust and use all the Thieves personal care products.
