Room Sprays with a Purpose!

When you walk into your home from outside what do you smell? Does it smell fresh and clean? Is the scent inviting and pleasant?

Here are some DIY room spray recipes using Young Living Essential Oils that you might want to try:

Basic Recipe:

In a 2 ounce glass spray bottle, fill 1/4 to 1/2 the bottle with vodka. Add essential oils and shake. Fill the rest of the bottle with distilled water. Shake well before each use

Here are various proportions of essential oils to mix in this base recipe. Adjust to your personal preference.

Citrus Breeze

  • 4 drops Citrus Fresh
  • 2 drops Lime
  • 2 drops Lemon

Odor be Gone

  • 5 drops Purification
  • 2 drops Lemon
  • 2 drops Bergamont

Love is in the Air

  • 4 drops Joy
  • 2 drops Ylang Ylang
  • 1 drops Sensation
  • 1 drop Stress Away

Sleepytime

  • 5 drops Lavender
  • 3 drops Roman Chamomile
  • 1 drop Cedarwood

Orange Spice

  • 4 drops Cinnamon Bark
  • 3 drops Orange
  • 2 drops Clove

At the Cabin

  • 4 drops Idaho Blue Spruce
  • 2 Drops Cedarwood
  • 2 drops Ecalyptus Blue
  • 2 drops Idaho Balsam Fir

Winter Wonderland

  • 4 drops Idaho Blue Spruce
  • 2 drops Frankincence
  • 2 drops Myrrh

Now, if you don’t want to make your own, you can always use Young Living’s Thieves Spray. One spray in each room will eliminate nasty odors and germs and leave your house smelling fresh and clean. No fuss, no muss!
