Spring Cleaning without toxins

Spring Cleaning

Recently Dr. Mercola called attention to the dangers of common household cleaners. In his article, Mercola pointed out:

  • The typical American home contains about three to 10 gallons of toxic materials in the form of household cleaning products. Even “green” alternatives can contain harmful ingredients
  • Ingredients in common household cleaners and detergents that can create a toxic indoor environment include glycol ethers, phosphates, volatile organic compounds, phthalates, and more

I am very thankful for Thieves Household Cleaner from Young Living Essential Oils. Not only does it have the Green Rating from the Environmental Working Group, but I have discovered it is so safe that I can even wash my fresh fruits and veggies in it. Yet it is powerful enough to get out tough stains and clean and disinfect floors, bathrooms, laundry and more. Frankly, I use it for cleaning most everything!
