OK, so talking about the activities of the lower portion of our digestive system is generally something most people avoid. Yet, this week has confirmed once again to me how important it is to keep “regular.”
I have been providing respite care for my mom to give a break to her regular care-givers.
A little background: I generally eat a diet that includes a good amount of fiber, organic and raw foods. There are two seniors in her home-care environment. Where she lives, they do not follow the type diet I normally eat. Long story short, we are eating MY WAY this week! And guess what? Everyone in the house is “moving” very well (to put it delicately).
