CBD, Essential Oils

All Things CBD

Have you noticed that CBD is getting more and more exposure these days?

I feel that people are truly searching for ways to handle various types of challenges, some due to injuries or circumstances outside their control. Others because they aren’t getting help from modern medicine in our society.

People want “natural” products without harmful side effects. But are they diving into the CBD craze without proper education and finding themselves heading down a path they had not wanted to follow?

It takes diligence to find the best and healthy options. It’s hard to find companies you can trust with your life.

When it comes to CBD, I have been very cautious because I knew not all CBD products are created equal. I watched friends try brands and be disappointed; or end up being addicted when they had not intended to be. That’s why I waited a long time to address the topic of CBD.

How many times have you heard someone say essential oils are too expensive?

Let’s be real for a minute… If you were just using one drop a day of an essential oil, and it was working with your body to balance hormone production, promote healthy skin, aid in the body’s natural detoxification processes, spice things up in the bedroom, boost feelings of confidence and self-esteem, along with countless other benefits that I can’t specifically mention (but you can research for yourself), would you still consider it to be too expensive?

Incorporating essential oils and oil-infused products into your daily routine is all about making better choices. We will spend our money on the things that we feel are valuable, regardless of cost. How much value do you put on feeling and looking amazing?

Because Young Living oils are pure and potent, you will find that one drop goes a long way, meaning in some cases, you are saving lots of pennies in the process!

Sleep Stress & Sadness

We all know that stress, sleep, and sadness are three words that do not pair well together. Too much stress usually equals too little sleep, which in turn leaves us tired, cranky, and more stressed. Add sadness to the mix, and you have the potential for the “perfect storm”!

Research shows that not getting enough sleep can affect your mood, relationships and health. Living in a constant state of stress can disrupt many of our body’s processes and create an increased risk for many health problems including:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Digestive problems
  • Headaches
  • Heart disease
  • Sleep problems
  • Weight gain
  • Memory and concentration impairment

So how do we stop the vicious cycle? This newsletter will focus on natural and healthy ideas to help you cope with the stressors of life. Click here to access the Stress, Sleep & Sadness newsletter:

Skin Care Secrets

Keeping the appearance of our skin at its best can sometimes feel overwhelming and even confusing. Gone are the days when grandma had just soap and water, or perhaps rose water! Today there are hundreds if not thousands of products available to maintain beautiful skin. But are they all safe? Are they all necessary? Which ones do I need?

Although skin care includes the skin all over our body (and certainly we care about or hands, feet, elbows, etc.), one area we tend to focus on more than the rest is our face! We want to look our best and as they say, put our best face forward!

There are several basic skin types:

  1. Normal – Firm, supple, equal balance
  2. Oily – Large pores, easily developing blemishes, maintains its youthful appearance well
  3. Dry – Scaly, lacking natural oils, sensitive – especially in harsh weather
  4. Combination – Dry skin with shiny oily areas (forehead, chin, nose), difficult to maintain
  5. Mature – Loses its elasticity, prone to wrinkles and damage, needs hydration and nourishment

Which skin type are you? Did you know that you should be caring for your skin differently, based on what skin type you are? As I age, I’m discovering new challenges I never had before in maintaining my youthful appearance.

This newsletter will unlock some secrets and suggestions for routines and amazing plant-based products for skin care for your skin type. Click this link to access the newsletter: Skin Care Newsletter
